Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the mainstay of Outreach. If not for them, Outreach would be unable to successfully operate and help so many community members. In 2016, 40+ volunteers worked 4200+ hours supporting all of our programs.

We are always looking for new volunteers who come with fresh ideas and perspectives. Tasks are generally easy and always rewarding.

• Staffing in the Food Pantry on a regular basis, assisting clients as they shop and stocking shelves. This is generally one day a week for a 3 hour shift.

• Staffing in the Food for Kids Program on a regular basis, preparing weekend backpack and school lunches. This is generally one day a week for a 3 hour shift.

• Staffing the Food Pantry on an On-Call Basis (serving as a substitute).
• Staffing for traffic control at our Spring and Fall fundraising Festivals. This is a two-to-three-hour commitment two times a year in a gorgeous setting.
• Staffing for Fundraising/Events/Activities.
